Announcer Jan Gabriel dies

January 11, 2010 (CHICAGO) Jan Gabriel passed away Sunday at the age of 69.

Gabriel is best known for yelling "Sunday, Sunday, Sunday" on commercials to promote races at Santa Fe Speedway in Hinsdale. Gabriel also hosted the syndicated TV show "The Super Chargers" which ran from 1982 until 1994,

A celebration of his life will be held on January 17.
