Students show off plans to break into business

May 5, 2010 (CHICAGO)

Mayor Daley congratulated teenagers from five South Side high schools at ESPN Zone.

Chicago area entrepreneurs have mentored 160 students during the past 9 months. On Wednesday, some of those students presented their innovative concepts to a panel of judges.

The products include a Bluetooth hearing aid, a lock which lights up when a key gets near it, and a washcloth with a pocket for soap.

The competition is sponsored by Future Founders and other organizations.
