9-1-1 calls from the weekend tornados

Frantic drivers called 9-1-1, like this one that said, "We just spotted a tornado south of Metcalf Airport."

Some worried residents had no place to take cover. "I'm scared. I don't know where to hide in my house. It's kind of a flat thing and I don't have any cover anywhere to take cover and I'm scared to death."

One tornado cut a path through Wood County. Fire and EMS crews were in the path of the storm.
Fire EMS: We have a wide funnel cloud spread heading towards Walbridge Rd.
Dispatcher: I have your police department on public service advising me it had been hit, the roof is off. There's people standing in front of the building in front of Lake Township police department.

Emergency crews feared for their own lives.
Fire EMS: 44 watch yourself cause they said its coming towards Walbridge Rd.
Fire EMS: Yeah 24 we're going to stay here for just a minute and see where this is going. I'm not driving into it.

The tornado ripped apart Lake Township's police department.
Fire EMS: We lost everything in the back parking lot, all the cruisers, all the cars and everything. I'm trying to get to dispatch.We need some rescue people here now.

Dozens of homes were destroyed, trapping people beneath the rubble.
Dispatcher: He's advising the house has collapsed. He is in the basement.

Another call came from Lake Twp. police:.
Fire EMS: Ok Wood County we need you to activate the sirens for Lake Township we have a funnel cloud on the ground going east its between Pemberville Rd and the village of Millbury. It's a very large funnel.
