Investigators say the northwest suburban roller coaster ride where a 3-year-old boy was killed over the weekend passed its most recent inspection three and a half months ago.

Jayson Dansby was killed at the Go Bananas entertainment center in Norridge Saturday night. The Dolton boy was riding the Python Pit roller coaster. The facility remains closed.

Police say he somehow freed himself from the safety bar, fell from the ride, and was struck by one of the cars.

Illinois Department of Labor investigators report there were two other minor incidents involving the Python Pit in 2006 and 2008.

All of the rides at Go Bananas were inspected on or since December 15, 2010.
