Police say they spotted a vehicle wanted in a carjacking case just after 2 a.m. Monday morning in the 10000-block of South Normal.
The suspect allegedly sped away and a chase ensued.
Police say the suspect repeatedly fired shots at officers as they chased him on the Dan Ryan Expressway. No one was shot.
Officers managed to stop the suspect and end the chase near 31st and South King Drive.
Two police officers suffered minor injuries in a crash related to the pursuit.
