Alinea has earned the prestigious honor in fine dining. The restaurant also received the rating last year, which was the first year Michelin produced a guide for Chicago.
More than 400 Chicago restaurants are listed in the new 2012 Michelin Guide Chicago. Twenty one of those restaurants received star ratings. Only two earned two stars: Ria and Charlie Trotter's.
