The Chicago Tribune is reporting that the city has agreed to pay the children of Donna Moore -- who were 11 and 13 at the time of the arrest -- $100,000.
The city will also pay the family's $447,500 legal bills.
The city of Chicago is not admitting any wrongdoing as part of the settlement.
The city council must still approve the settlement.
