3 men in Uptown standoff linked to Indiana murder

The standoff took place Monday evening in the 4600-block of North Broadway. It forced the CTA to shutdown portions of the Red and Purple lines.

Prosecutors in South Bend, Indiana, say the three men are charged in a murder that took place last month.

Twenty-eight-year-old Bryant Hunt is charged with murder and attempted robbery, 20-year-old Sylvester Gamer faces charges of aiding in murder, and 18-year-old Forest Lamar Jr. is charged with assisting a criminal.
