The funeral for Chicago high school student Frances Colon was held at Bethesda Christian Church on West Fullerton Saturday.

The 18-year-old Clemente High School student was shot and killed on the West Side last month.

Colon's sister says it's been difficult dealing with the tragic loss.

"That was my sister, my other half, the person I talked to," said Selena Colon, Frances' sister. "When I get mad and stuff, she's the person I talk to. So it's like now when I get mad, i just be trying to think of what she used to tell me. So it's like these last two weeks, it's just been hard."

Thirty-four-year-old Larry Luellen Jr. is charged with first-degree murder in the Colon's death.

Police say Luellen accidentally shot her as he fired at a drug dealer with whom he'd had an argument.
