Armed robbery caught on surveillance video

EAST HAZEL CREST, Ill. (WLS) -- An armed robbery was caught on surveillance video in a south suburban bar.

Two suspects walked into Beano's Tavern in East Hazel Crest and ordered patrons on the floor.

One suspect took off with the entire cash register drawer.

An off-duty police officer who happened to be at that location exchanged gunfire with the suspects. No one was injured.

The suspects got away in a dark-colored four-door Audi that may have bullet holes.
