CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man who allegedly robbed a bank in Chicago's Loop Tuesday afternoon got away on a CTA Blue Line train, police said.
The FBI released pictures of the man taken from surveillance cameras at the Fifth Third Bank at 601 South Clark Street around 1:15 p.m. Five minutes later, he is believed to have gotten on a CTA Blue Line train; the LaSalle stop is nearby.
Several northbound Blue Line trains in Chicago's Loop were stopped while police searched cars and the subway. Police officers were seen coming in and out of the Clark and Lake train station, which is just north of the LaSalle stop.
The suspect, described as 5'7" to 5'11" tall with brown hair, remains on the loose. No weapons were displayed, officials said. They did not say how much money was stolen.
