CHICAGO (WLS) -- Some of the top high school basketball players from around the U.S. are coming to Chicago to compete in the McDonald's All American Games.
This is the 6th year the games are being held in Chicago. This year, fans can watch the players compete in the POWERADE Jam Fest live from the Chicago Theatre. The event features a slam dunk contest, 3-point shoot-out, and skills competition.
The players will compete on Monday.
Tickets are still available for the main events on March 30 at the United Center. All proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The Girls All American Game begins at 5:30 p.m., while the boys tip-off at 8 p.m.
The McDonald's All American Games showcases the nation's top basketball talent. Past players include Michael Jordan, Derrick Rose, Magic Johnson and LeBron James.
Douglas Freeland, the director of the McDonald's All American Games, sat down with ABC 7 to preview all the excitement.
