Mayor Emanuel cuts ribbon on new Albany Park boathouse

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The city dedicated a new boathouse along the Chicago River Sunday when Mayor Rahm Emanuel cut the ribbon on the River Park Boathouse.

Located near Argyle and North Francisco in the Albany Park neighborhood, the River Park Boathouse is the third of four new boat houses under a $16 million city plan.

The fourth is planned near canal Origins Park in Bridgeport next spring.
