CPD officers get new bulletproof vests

CHICAGO -- Chicago police officers on the city's South Side were the first to get new bulletproof vests purchased with donations to Get Behind the Vest.

The $4 million fundraising campaign will help buy 8,000 replacement vests. This week, 1,087 vests will be distributed.
