Worker injured in St. Charles chemical explosion, fire

ST. CHARLES, Ill. (WLS) -- A worker with burns to his face and hands was transported by medical helicopter to a hospital after a chemical explosion in St. Charles, Ill.

No other injuries were reported in Friday's fire at Midwest Powder Coatings.

Fire officials have not said what led to the blast.
