Student from Lindenhurst fatally struck in Kenosha

KENOSHA, Wis. (WLS) -- A college student from the suburbs was killed Thursday while away at school in Wisconsin.

Carthage College said freshman Griffin Schumow was hit and killed by a car Thursday in Kenosha.

Schumow is from Lindenhurst.

The driver who hit him stayed at the scene of the accident.
