Playground renovated at Cornell Square Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Members of the Chicago Park District held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday on new improvements to Cornell Square Park.

The park is located in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on Chicago's Southwest Side.

Children now have a new renovated playground as part of the 103 playgrounds across Chicago getting makeovers under Mayor Rahm Emanuel's "Chicago Plays Program."
