Chicago School Fair showcases educational programs

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Educational programs from hundreds of Chicago-area elementary and high schools are being showcased this weekend at McCormick Place.

The Chicago School Fair allows parents and students to talk with representatives from public, private, charter, online and home schooling options about their latest programs. Students can explore their future high school options to help decide which academic environment is best.

The event, which drew more than 8,000 people Saturday, will continue Sunday, Oct. 5 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
