CPS teacher Mark Kelley accused of impersonating cop

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago Public School teacher is accused of impersonating a cop. He's in custody Friday night after a Chicago police officer called him out.

Mark Kelley was driving Thursday night when investigators say he got into some sort of dispute with another driver and allegedly claimed to be an officer from Wisconsin.

It turns out the other driver was an off-duty officer. He flagged down authorities, who arrested Kelley.

UPDATE: February 25, 2016 -Cook County court records show Mark Kelley was charged with false impersonation of a police officer and aggravated assault. Those charges were later amended to reckless conduct. It was amended again to a misdemeanor charge on July 13, 2015 and on that date he pled guilty to that charge and was given 1 year of supervision and community service, and paid a fine of over $300.
