Man charged with sexually abusing woman on CTA Blue Line platform last December

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 29-year-old Chicago man has been charged after a woman was sexually abused on a CTA Blue Line platform last December.

Police said Jesse Winford followed the 18-year-old victim and eventually grabbed her from behind and touched her inappropriately.

Winford was arrested Wednesday after police said a CTA worker recognized him from a surveillance photograph.

Winford has been charged with criminal sexual abuse and aggravated battery in a public place.
