Drum-off champion of the world Tony Taylor Jr.

The drumming champion of the world is an 18-year-old from Matteson! Tony Taylor Jr. joins Windy City Live fresh off his victory of the 27th annual Guitar Center Drum Off. Tony beat out thousands of drummers to take the crown. Past winners have gone on to drum for Beyonc, Prince, and Jay Z. Tony grew up idolizing his father's drumming. As a boy, he couldn't take his eyes off the drum set and the rest is history. Tony hopes to be a music producer and drummer in the next chapter of his life.
