ELMHURST, Ill. (WLS) -- A special group in Elmhurst got a sneak peek at Disney's new movie "Finding Dory" Thursday night.
The Kira Spedale Foundation hosted the screening of the "Finding Nemo" sequel at the York Theater. Kira Spedale died of a terminal form of brain stem cancer in 2015.
Before her death, the Make-A-Wish Foundation made it possible for the 10-year-old to go behind the scenes of the making of "Finding Dory."
Money raised from Thursday's event will go to research for a treatment and a cure.
"Finding Dory" premiers in theaters nationwide on June 17.
