2 local baristas head to international barista competition

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two Chicago area natives are heading to an international barista competition.

David Soto and Maria Cezares are two national coffee professionals who recently won a local competition in the art of coffee and are moving on to Australia to compete internationally.

"We took many classes in latte art and we have been doing this for years," said Soto.

These two talented baristas came to ABC7 to show off their skills in the art of latte, espresso, and more before they head to Australia.
