Giordano's to open new restaurant at Navy Pier in May

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Giordano's deep dish pizza is coming to Navy Pier.

Giordano's Famous Stuffed Pizza announced Thursday that a new restaurant will open at the iconic Chicago tourist destination in late May. Navy Pier draws about 9 million visitors each year.

Visitors will have the choice of eating outside on the patio or inside the restaurant, which will be located on the north side of Navy Pier's main entrance.

"With the addition of Giordano's to our new, vibrant food scene, we expect to see a lot of happy guests enjoying our city's leading deep dish pizza."

The Navy Pier location will be Giordano's 51st restaurant in Chicago. The first Giordano's opened in 1974.
