Bronzeville Grant Memorial AME church honors South Carolina shooting victims

CHICAGO (WLS) -- People gathered for a bible study to honor the memory of the South Carolina church shooting victims at Grant Memorial AME church in the city's Bronzeville neighborhood.

They prayed for the nine people who were killed during their bible study last week in Charleston.

The churchgoers lit candles for each of the victims.

After the bible study, participants released balloons for the victims, each with a bible scripture inside.
