Wake scheduled for young brothers who drowned, Terrion and Donel Smith

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- Friends and family of Terrion Smith, 8, and Donel Smith, 9, will gather in Gary to remember the two brothers who drowned in northwest Indiana.

The Smith brothers' wake will be held at Manuel Memorial Funeral Home from 12-8 p.m. Thursday. Family hour will be from 6-8 p.m.

The boys drowned in a water-filled construction pit near their home in Hobart last month. The pit has since been drained and filled.

The boys' funeral service will be at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday.
