Chicago Vintage Toy Buying Show starts Monday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Your old toys may be worth more than you realize. Find out how much more at the Chicago Vintage Toy Buying Show, which begins Monday.

Joel Magee, a.k.a. "The Toy Scout," is on the hunt for the latest toy-find. He said Star Wars collectibles are especially hot right now. Hotwheels toy cars and Barbie dolls are popular too.

Check out the show in four Chicago-area locations over the next week:

-Monday, Aug. 3, Courtyard Marriott, 370-N11 Route 83 in Elmhurst;

-Tuesday-Wednesday, Aug. 4-5, Courtyard Marriott, 1505 Lake Cook Road in Highland Park;

-Thursday-Friday, Aug. 6-7, Courtyard Marriott Arlington Heights South, 100 West Algonquin Road;

-Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 8-9, Courtyard Marriott Naperville, 1155 E Diehl Road.

The show is open from 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily. Admission and parking are free!
