Hospital worker delivers 1,000 gifts to sick kids

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago area cafeteria worker is playing Santa to hundreds of sick children spending the holidays in the hospital.

Jessie Tendayi works at Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago. She delivered more than 1,000 toys to the little ones at the Advocate Children's Hospitals in Oak Lawn and Park Ridge.

Tendayi saves some money from each of her paychecks so she can buy gifts for children during the holiday season.
