Thousands run in annual Hot Chocolate 15k/5k downtown

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands ran downtown in the annual Hot Chocolate 15k/5k Sunday morning.

The race got underway at 7:30 a.m. and and once runners finished there was a big celebration in Grant Park featuring chocolate fondue and hot chocolate.

The race is now in its 9th year in Chicago. The Ronald McDonald House is the charity sponsor.
