CHICAGO (WLS) -- The seventh annual Humana Rock n' Roll Chicago Half Marathon is welcoming 20,000 runners on July 19.
The races begin at 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Columbus Drive and Monroe, with 13.1 and 10K courses running on the streets of downtown Chicago.
After the race, runners join friends and family to celebrate their accomplishment at a concert at Grant Park. The concert is headlined by Andy Grammer.
Eyewitness News reporter John Garcia ran in the Humana Rock n' Roll Chicago Half Marathon. He joined ABC 7 live on Sunday from the finish line with Jean Draper of the Challenged Athletes Foundation and Bill Snyder of the Humana Rock n' Roll Half Marathon.
