Illinois treasurer race still too close to call

The winner of the race for Illinois treasurer may not be known for weeks.

As of Friday morning, the vote count was still too close to call between Republican Tom Cross and Democrat Mike Frerichs.

Cross was leading by about 21,000 votes but that number has shrunk to about 13,000.
