Activists call for faster immigration reform

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Fired up activists called on President Obama to take action on immigration reform.

They gathered with Congressman Luis Gutierrez in Pilsen on Monday morning.

Many are disappointed by the president's decision to delay taking executive action on immigration until after November's congressional election.

President Obama says his decision is not political. He says the delay will allow him to explain to the public why executive action is right for the country.
