A more than century-old mystery may finally be solved.
DNA evidence has reportedly identified the real Jack the Ripper. According to the Daily Mail, it was Aaron Kosminski. The Polish immigrant was one of the key suspects in the serial murders that haunted east London back in 1888.
The Daily Mail says a shawl found next to one of the victims has finally confirmed the killer's identity. An expert was able to extract DNA from the material and compare it to DNA from Kosminski's descendants, which proved to be a match.
