WILLIAMSPORT, Penn. (WLS) -- After their big win last night, the Jackie Robinson West team is resting on Wednesday and looking ahead to Thursday night's Little League World Series game.
The town of Williamsport carved into the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. Once known as the lumber capital of the world, it's now known as the home of Little League Baseball. During the 10 days of the World Series it's all about baseball, unless there is rain.
The game between Seoul and Tokyo was delayed due to rain. But the steep hill next the stadium still provides hours of fun, rain or shine.
After last night's win, Jackie Robinson West gets a rest. They were ahead the whole game against Texas, but on Wednesday, Chicago's players get a day off.
We got a look at the Little Leaguers accommodations last week. They have games and are making new friends. Ping pong seems to be a good place to forge foreign friendships.
"It's a fantasy. It's a good experience. To be here playing ping pong with all the countries. Especially Japan. They're fun," said Darion Radcliffe.
And they are literally catered to when it comes to meal time.
"They love bacon, they love eggs, and they love potatoes," said Mary Yale.
On Wednesday night, they will be watching as Mo'ne Davis pitches for Philadelphia.
The 13-year-girl is the most talked about player during the series, and could play them on Thursday.
