Secretary of State Jesse White honored for volunteer work

CHICAGO -- The Jesse White Tumblers flew through the air Monday night at an event honoring their founder, Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White.



The Simon Wiesenthal Center hosted its first Midwest tribute dinner Monday night.



White was recognized as the international human rights organization's "tolerance laureate."



He has spent 54 years working as a volunteer to help kids stay away from gangs.
