Safer Foundation holds annual gala

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Safer Foundation held its annual gala Saturday.

The foundation is dedicated to helping people with criminal records successfully re-enter society.

The organization called this a year of "deeper impact," and said it served more than 5,000 clients.

ABC7 anchor and reporter Karen Jordan hosted the gala at the Museum of Science and Industry.
