Kidz Korna hosts toy giveaway benefiting homeless, low-income children

Kidz Korna is celebrating with their 10th Anniversary Miracle Toy Gift Giveaway.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- After 20 years of service to the Chicago community, Kidz Korna is celebrating with their 10th Anniversary Miracle Toy Gift Giveaway.

The goal is to give toys to 3,000 homeless and low-income children. The giveaway is on Dec. 19 from noon- 4 p.m. at the House of Hope in Chicago. Along with the toys, the event will also feature a Youth Expo featuring a Christmas Choir Musical Extravaganza, Youth Entertainment, Celebrity Guest Speakers, A Health Screening, and Community Resources to help better the lives of the children.

Kidz Korna works with the community to find solutions to gang violence and to help at-risk youth. The program offers after-school workshops, summer camps, tutoring, mentoring and counseling. Founder and Director of Kidz Korna, Delece Williams, and Miguel Torres from Harmony Health Plane of Illinois, joined ABC 7 live from their Miracle Toy Giveaway.
