CHICAGO (WLS) -- The 35th annual Taste of Polonia is back in Chicago.
The four-day festival begins on Sept. 4 and continues through Monday, Sept. 7. This year, Krakus is bringing the authentic taste of Poland to the CTA. Krakus is welcoming visitors to the Taste of Polonia by wrapping Chicago's Blue Line train in their iconic ham packaging to celebrate Polish Heritage.
You can ride the train in Jefferson Park on Sept. 6.
Festivities begin at the Jefferson Park stop with loads of fun giveaways and special promotions. Krakus is donating 25 cents to the Copernicus Foundation for every passenger who rides the Krakus Ham Train to the Taste of Polonia.
President of the Copernicus Foundation, Hubert Cioromski, and Michael Sargent with Krakus joined ABC7 Eyewitness News live from the festival to explain why it's so important for the community.
