Lane closed for repairs on EB Touhy Ave. at EB Edens Expy. ramp

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- The curb lane of eastbound Touhy Avenue at the eastbound entrance ramp to the Edens Expressway is closed while Skokie crews repair a water main.

Access to the expressway remains open, but the lane reduction may cause a backup. Skokie officials said westbound traffic will not be affected.

The closure will remain in effect until repair work is complete. To prevent congestion, drivers are encouraged to avoid the area seek alternate routes.
