CHICAGO (WLS) -- When Linda Yu began working in Chicago, she made history as the city's first Asian American broadcast journalist. She came to ABC7 in 1984, anchoring our 4 p.m. newscast.

Each afternoon, people across the Chicago area have watched Linda, trusting her to report the stories they need to know, the ones that touch their hearts and those that make them smile.

On Wednesday-- after 37 years on Chicago television -- Linda will anchor her final newscast, leaving what has been a remarkable career in TV news to see what's next.
