CPD said the three men were outside when someone shot at them and ran away on Saturday night.

The shooting happened on Saturday at about 9 p.m. near 38th and Indiana Avenue, police said.

A 39-year-old man was shot in the chest and was taken to University of Chicago Hospital, where he died.

A man, whose age was not immediately known, was shot in the neck. CPD said he was taken to Insight Hospital in critical condition.

A 35-year-old man was shot in the left knee; he is expected to be OK.

Woman shot during argument in East Chatham, police say

A woman was shot during an argument in East Chatham on Saturday morning, Chicago police said.

The shooting happened at about 11:56 a.m. in the 8100-block of S. Drexel Avenue, police said.

A 47-year-old was arguing with two men when one of them pulled out a gun and shot her.

She was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center and is expected to be OK.

Man shot while driving in Back of the Yards, police say

A 48-year-old man was shot while driving in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, Chicago police said.

The shooting happened on Saturday at about 3 a.m. in the 4300-block of South Wood Street, police said.

The man was shot in the back and self-transported to Rush Hospital. CPD said he is expected to be OK.

1 shot, 1 in custody in NW Side shooting, police say

A man was shot in his home on Saturday on Chicago's Northwest Side, police said.

The shooting happened at a home at about 12:32 a.m. in the 2900 block of N. Harlem Avenue, police said.

A 57-year-old man was shot in the left leg by a known man inside his home, police said

He was taken to Loyola Hospital and is expected to be OK.

CPD took a man into custody; a weapon was also recovered.
