Police Athletic Activity Leagues host screening of "McFarland, USA"

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Police Athletic Activity Leagues, or PALS, are hosting a screening of the upcoming Disney film "McFarland, USA" at 10:30 a.m. in Logan Square.

The movie is about the true story of a high school coach who starts a cross-country running team in 1987 in an economically challenged area of California.

PALS participants can see the movie before anyone else Saturday morning at 10:30 at the Regal City North Stadium.

ABC7 Eyewitness News's Stacy Baca will emcee the screening. Disney is ABC7's parent company.
