Alsip woman missing for more than 5 days, family says

ALSIP, Ill. (WLS) -- A woman from southwest suburban Alsip has been missing for more than five days.



The family of 27-year-old Carrie Willis, also known as Carrie Winters, asked for the public's help to find her. Police said she was last seen around 5 a.m. on May 11. She had taken an Uber to Chicago Ridge Mall.



She may have had contact with Chicago police at an unknown location around 8:30 a.m. on May 12, authorities said. She is known to frequent Chicago and Elgin.



Relatives said she is bi-polar and may be without her medication.



Willis is 5 ft. 8 in. tall and weighs around 195 pounds, police said. She has brown eyes and black hair.
