Dozens rescued after Busch Gardens roller coaster malfunctions

TAMPA, Fla. (WLS) -- A roller coaster ride turned into a rescue operation in Tampa Thursday afternoon.

Sixty-four people had to be lowered to the ground after they got trapped on the ShieKra roller coaster at Busch Gardens.

The ride suffered an electrical malfunction, causing the car to stop before the first drop.

They were stranded for two hours. No one was injured.
