WEST CHICAGO, Ill. (WLS) -- Jill Beebe, a school bus driver, was sentenced to 20 days in jail for driving under the influence, officials said.
Beebe, 43, was charged with a felony count of aggravated driving under the influence after she was arrested in September 2013. She was dropping off students at a West Chicago school when a school employee spoke to Beebe about something and thought she smelled alcohol on Beebe's breath, officials said.
Judge George Bakalis ordered Beebe to spend 20 days in jail and placed her on probation for two years. She also must perform 50 hours of community service and pay $1,762 in fines and restitution, prosecutors said.
