Zion police investigate shooting near 26th, Lewis

ZION, Ill. (WLS) -- Police in far north suburban Zion investigated a shooting Tuesday at 26th Street and Lewis Avenue.

Investigators say none of the officers on the scene was shot, but one of them was hit by the suspect's vehicle.

The suspect was wounded by gunfire and is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
