CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands of people take in 'Bike the Drive' each Memorial Day weekend. They peddle along the typically busy Lake Shore Drive. It's the one day of the year they don't have to worry about sharing the road with cars.
So how friendly is the city to those on two wheels the rest of the time?
Jim Merrell from the Active Transportation Alliance discusses the issue. The organization works to make cycling, walking and public transit safe, convenient and fun.
