CHICAGO (WLS) -- A school employee has been removed from their responsibilities after a device resembling a camera was found in a staff bathroom at the Ogden International School in the Gold Coast neighborhood.

In a letter sent home to parents Monday, the school's principal Michael Beyer said the staff member will not return to the school.

Last week, Beyer said police removed the device which "is not designed to send information, so we are confident that no images were transmitted by the device." Beyer also said school security also conducted a full sweep of both buildings and found no other devices.

No one has been charged.
