CHICAGO (WLS) -- An $8.5 billion expansion plan for O'Hare International Airport is in its final stages of negotiation, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Under the plan, Terminal 2 would be demolished to make way for a new "global terminal" for international flights.
Terminals 1, 3 and 5 would be renovated and more gates would be added.
The project is intended to ease gridlock and attract more international flights.
