'Walking in, expect a discount': OJI Closeouts is a merchandise warehouse with deals and discounts
CUDAHY, Calif. -- OJI Closeouts is a warehouse in the City of Cudahy filled with discounted items from top retailers, such as Target, Home Depot and Walmart.
All of the items are things that have been returned to big chain stores, but for the most part, the items are in brand new condition or good shape.
"I save tons of money. They have literally everything you can think of," said Richard Robinson, a resident from Covina.
"Walking in, expect a discount," said Joshua Jjemba, the co-owner of OJI Closeouts store.
OJI Closeouts' main business are pallets with returned items packaged up. There's furniture, home goods, tools and much more. Many items are marked 80 to 90% off.
"A buddy of mine. He told me about the displays, and I've been hooked ever since," said Robinson.
"I save a lot of money here. They have wholesale and things like that from Target, Amazon, Home Depot and Lowe's," said Alejandra Lepe, a Los Angeles resident.
"It's a small business, where we love to interact with everybody, so we make money, our resellers make money and the end consumer saves money," said Jjemba.
OJI Closeouts will send out text messages and post on their Instagram account ojicloseouts to let customers know what special items they will have in advance and information, such as store hours.
